So how do we set these goals? I like to think I'm getting better at this for myself, but for our community, let's let the expert be the expert. Ron? So true - fitness goals need to be attainable and reachable. So often I see clients who may ultimately need to lose 60-100 pounds but, I refuse to set that total goal in their workout plan. Instead, I set a goal that should be attainable in 2-3 months. That way, it doesn't look or feel like they have a mountain to move, and the goal feels closer and more doable.
